Eneco will continue the activities and take over the employees of Ecostream Netherlands after its bankruptcy. Consequently, the activities of Ecostream Netherlands will proceed without interruption. Ecostream Netherlands is part of Econcern, core parts of which were already acquired by Eneco last week. Parties do not make any statements with regard to the purchase price.Ecostream Netherlands specialises in solar energy systems for both the BtoC and BtoB markets. It supplies and installs solar panels and solar boilers under the brand name BeldeZon. Eneco will also continue Ecostream’s Wonen++ concept. This is a comprehensive package with which homeowners can turn their house into an energy friendly, sustainable and comfortable home.
The acquisition enhances Eneco’s position in the sustainable energy market. Eneco is now market leader in the BtoC and BtoB markets for solar pv systems.
Eneco is also interested in taking over the activities of Ecostream in other countries, about which both parties are still in discussion.
